Ghostrider - Main Titles pitch. Elastic. (2019)

It's always an exciting thing to be invited to contribute to a pitch concept to Elastic. For this proposed Marvel series, Ghost Rider, I decided to pursue an aesthetic complimentary to the spirit of a graphic novel.

Opting for a bold and constrained colour palette, my key objectives were to invoke the dusty physicality of the Mexican/American backdrop, to introduce our mysterious protagonist, and to allude to his superhuman powers. 

As the figure walks, the scenery variously begins to ignite. Fire erupts around the obscure walking figure and we begin to understand that it is at his command.
